Participants will think deeply about their bodies in relation to the natural landscape and translate the experience into their writing and/or photography.

Ekphrasitic Poetry Inspired by the Griswold Collection
$45 (Museum members 10% discount)
Join Steere for an interactive introduction to the world of ekphrastic poetry, connecting art and language in creative ways.
After a deep dive into the process, participants will respond to several works of art on view in the Museum’s collection. Participants will have an opportunity to share the results in preparation for a final version of their poem to be continued after the event.
Steere will coordinate the submission of final poems to be gathered into a class anthology.
